About

Escape Harbor Marnia

Escape Harbor Marina in Beach Haven, New Jersey is a wonderful place to dock your boat and relax. Tim and Robin Howard purchased this 60 slip facility in 1985. The marina was formerly named Captian Clover's Dock.

Escape Harbor Marina now encompasses a small part of land of the lagoon on 32nd Street, and the much larger area on the bayfront between 31st and 32nd Streets. Boats range from 15 to 60 feet in length. Navigation is easy for large boats with a minimum water depth of 5-1/2 feet in both the marina and entrance channel. A large fenced lot provides plenty of off street parking for slip-holders and their guests. For boaters interested in fishing, the surrounding bay waters are rich in marine life. Direct access to the Atlantic Ocean is available by passing through Little Egg Inlet only five miles south of Escape Harbor Marina.

Beach Haven, NJ

Beach Haven attracts a family-oriented crowd during the summer. The town has not contained a boardwalk since it was washed away by the 1944 hurricane, and the night life is limited to a few quality bars. Visitors take part in activities such as miniature golf, parasailing, jet skiing, walking and shopping and relaxing on the beaches. Beach Haven is also a base for many long-range recreational fishing and charter boats, whose trips can range from 10–100 miles from one of the island's two inlets, (Barnegat Light in the north, and Beach Haven in the south). Art venues include the Surflight Theatre as well as numerous art galleries throughout Long Beach Island.
